Ok, so we know that Erin Teagan is the author of the 2018 GOTY, and she's been dropping a few hints here and there.
#1 Erin tweeted: This girl of the year might have something to do with donuts.
(Maybe she makes and sells donuts to raise money for something? Maybe donut making is a tradition in her family? Maybe donuts play an important enough part that a donut set will ge sold as one of her accessories?)
#2 There's a character who speaks in pirate jokes.
(This character is probably not the girl of the year.)
