Blog Inspiration

I guess it all started when my friend sent me a email that had a link to Fun with AG Fan. I checked out the blog and found very interesting. I started to think that maybe i would like to start a blog. So, with the help of my sister and a friend, I started my blog, and it's still going.

Advice to New Bloggers

Others have given the same or similar advice, but good advice is worth repeating.

One piece of advice i would give to new bloggers is.....

When you start (well actually i still do this) go to other blogs and comment. Maybe in your comment say 'Hey, could check out my blog?' It really does work, and i wish you luck.

Who do I nominate?

All Things Doll

A World Of Magic

AG Doll Play

The Sunshine Dollies

American Girl Place

Wack-a-doodle-dolls

Melody?

(Info and pictures from Doll Days and on American Girl Wikia)

Hey everyone, i just read on Doll Days that the new historical doll 2016 is an African american girl named Melody Ellison. Anyway so her 3 book covers have been leaked!
'No Ordinary Sound' A Melody Classic Volume 1, is the first volume of Melody's series. It will be included with the Melody doll when she is released.

The first book is called 'Music in My Heart'

The Second book is called 'Never Stop Singing'

They say that the doll, Melody, might have dimples, so that will be so cool! I can't wait to see her.

Here are some of the characters that are mentioned in her books.
Melody's Family

• Will Ellison: Melody's father.
• Frances Ellison: Melody's mother.
• Yvonne Ellison: Melody's oldest sister
• Dwayne Ellison: Melody's older brother.
• Lila Ellison: Melody's older sister.
• Big Momma Porter: Melody's grandmother.
• Frank Porter: Melody's grandfather.
• Cousin Tish: Melody's older cousin.
• Cousin Charles: Melody's older cousin.
• Valerie: Melody's cousin and best friend.
• Bo: The Ellisons' family dog.

Friends and Other Characters

• Sharon: Melody's best friend.
• Diane Harris: A fellow member of the church choir

Personality and Facts

Melody's whole family is involved in music in some way.

Melody's family nicknames her Dee-Dee; her grandmother calls her "baby chick" (as she calls all her grandchildren chicks).

Melody, along with singing, likes gardening.

Hope you enjoyed the info!
